How do I get a quote?

Contact us by phone, email or through the enquiry form on this site. Tell us the property address, what needs attention, and any deadlines you're working to a settlement date, a lease handover, or an open home. For smaller jobs, photos are often enough for us to give you an accurate figure. For anything larger, or where surfaces need assessing, we attend the property in person to measure and quote properly.

Is the quote free?

Yes. Quotes are free with no obligation, and we don't charge a call-out fee for attending a site walkthrough.

How long does a quote take?

We usually attend within a few days of your enquiry, and send the written quote within two business days of the visit.

Question 4

What's included in the quote?

Accepted Answer

An itemised scope of works, materials and quantities, labour, and the price both excluding and including GST. Exclusions are listed just as clearly as inclusions, so there's no ambiguity about what's covered.

Can the price change once work starts?

Only if something unforeseen is found buried services, water damage behind a wall, ground conditions that differ from what was visible at the quote stage. If that happens, we stop, explain the situation, and give you a written variation to approve before continuing. We don't proceed with extra work and invoice you for it afterwards.

How long is a quote valid?

30 days from the date of issue. Material prices move, and we'd rather re-quote honestly than hold a price we can't deliver on.

Do you paint both interiors and exteriors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Interior repaints, exterior weatherboard and render, plaster and wall repairs, and timber floor sanding and finishing.

Do you do preparation, or just the finish coats?

Accepted Answer

Preparation is most of the job. We patch, sand, seal and prime before any finish coat goes on. A repaint over poor preparation looks acceptable for a season and then fails we'd rather do it once, properly.

How many coats do you apply?

Two full finish coats as standard, over the appropriate primer or sealer for the surface. If a colour change requires more, we'll say so in the quote rather than discover it mid job.

Do you supply the paint, or do I?

Accepted Answer

We supply the paint as part of the quote, and it's itemised so you can see exactly what's being used. If you'd prefer to supply your own, that's fine  just tell us at the quoting stage.

Can you help me choose colours?

Yes. We can talk through options during the walkthrough and help you narrow down a scheme that suits the property.

Do you paint commercial properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes retail fitouts, warehouses and commercial interiors. For businesses that can't close during the day, we can quote out-of-hours or weekend work.

Can we stay in the house while you paint?

Accepted Answer

Usually yes for interior work  we work room by room, protect your floors and furniture, and keep the site tidy at the end of each day. We'll talk through the sequence so you know which rooms are out of action and when.

Do you offer one-off garden work or ongoing maintenance?

Both. We do one-off resets clearing an overgrown yard before an inspection or an open home and scheduled maintenance visits for owners and property managers.

How often do maintenance visits happen?

Whatever suits the property. Every two weeks, monthly, or every two months  we'll recommend a frequency based on the size of the garden and how quickly it grows, and you can change it at any time.

Do you take away the green waste?

For garden maintenance visits, yes  clearing green waste is part of the service. For larger landscaping jobs, waste removal is quoted separately, and we'll make it clear either way in your quote.

Do you do mulch, decorative stone and garden edging?

Yes. We supply and install mulch, decorative stone, weed matting and steel garden edging. You'll see the material options and quantities itemised in the quote.

Do you do end-of-lease cleans?

Yes. We clean to the standard agents actually sign off on, working from a written checklist so nothing is missed.

What's included in a general clean?

All living areas, kitchen and wet areas, floors, surfaces and fixtures. A deep clean adds oven, refrigerator, window tracks and detail work. We'll confirm the checklist with you before we start.

Do you clean windows inside and out?

Yes, both, subject to safe access. If a window can't be reached safely from the ground or a ladder, we'll tell you at the quoting stage rather than skip it silently.

Do you clean after building or painting work?

Yes. Post-works detailing is one of the things we do most  including after our own painting jobs, so the property is handed back ready to use.

Which areas of Melbourne do you service?

In Melbourne, working across surrounding suburbs.and the surrounding suburbs across Melbourne. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, just ask.

Question 24

Do you work with property managers and body corporates?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with property managers on turnarounds between tenancies, and with body corporates on common-property painting, grounds maintenance and window rounds under recurring arrangements. Invoicing is set up to reconcile cleanly against your systems.

Question 25

How do I pay, and when?

Accepted Answer

A 80% deposit confirms the booking and covers materials and stock. The balance is due within 7 days of completion, by bank transfer unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Do you take photos of the work?

Accepted Answer

Yes before, during and after, for quality assurance and for your records. We don't publish photos of your property publicly without your permission.

Question 27

What if I'm not happy with something?

Accepted Answer

Tell us before we leave the site, or as soon as you notice. We walk the finished job with you and fix anything flagged on the spot. If something comes up later, contact us and we'll come back and address it.
